Cancellations and Refunds

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

We understand that plans can change. To maintain service quality while ensuring fairness, the following cancellation and refund terms apply to all tours and travel services booked through Travel Agency Turkiye.

GENERAL TERMS FOR CANCELLATIONS

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and signed by the lead traveler on the reservation.
• Cancellation fees are considered liquidated damages, not penalties, and are calculated based on the time of notice received prior to the scheduled departure.
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method within 14 business days.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR PACKAGE TOURS

If cancellation is received:

Note: For tours that include non-refundable third-party services (e.g. domestic flights, train tickets, hot air balloon rides), those specific service fees will be deducted from the refundable amount according to the provider’s own cancellation policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR SHORE EXCURSIONS & DAY TOURS

(applies to single-day tours and shore activities without flights)

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours prior to the tour date (excluding hot air balloon rides and domestic flights).
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start time will be considered no-shows and are non-refundable (100% cancellation fee).

PRIVATE & SMALL GROUP DAILY TOURS

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour start time are fully refundable (excluding non-refundable third-party costs).
• Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
• Amendments are subject to availability and may incur up to a 25% administrative fee.

TOURS INVOLVING NON-REFUNDABLE COMPONENTS

Some tours involve components that are purchased in advance (e.g. flight tickets, ferry passes, hot air balloon rides). These may be non-refundable or partially refundable, depending on the third-party provider’s policy. This will be communicated at the time of booking.

LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS

• Travelers who arrive late or fail to show up for their scheduled tour/activity will be considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund.
• This applies to all services, regardless of whether they are part of a package, private tour, or group tour.

CHANGES & AMENDMENTS

• Any request to change the tour date or time is subject to availability and must be made before the cancellation deadline.
• Rescheduling a tour to a later date will use the original tour date to determine applicable cancellation terms.
• Rescheduling to an earlier date will use the new tour date as the basis for cancellation terms.

REGIONAL BOOKING TERMS

If your booking was made through a local office outside Turkey, regional terms and conditions may apply based on the specific policies of that office or representative.

POLICY UPDATES

Travel Agency Turkiye reserves the right to update or modify this cancellation and refund policy at any time. Changes will apply to new bookings made after the date of the policy update.
